West Yorkshire tax valuation 1910 on Ancestry

Ancestry (www.ancestry.co.uk) has uploaded a new collection, West Yorkshire, England, Tax Valuation, 1910.

From the site:

The Finance Act of 1910 imposed new duties on land, including a tax on the increase in a property’s value over time. These taxes required that properties be assigned a current value, which led to the creation of these tax valuation records from West Yorkshire. This database contains field books prepared by the valuation offices. The field books include additional details on the properties along with names of owners and occupiers, street location, and value of the land typically found in the valuation summary books.
