John Bishop's WDYTYA provisionally scheduled for December

Else Churchill from the Society of Genealogists ( has tweeted that John Bishop's episode of Who Do You Think You Are, which has been bumped from the schedules next week to make way for Michael Palin's new travel series on Brazil, has been tentatively scheduled for
December 12th at 9pm on BBC1. (Please note however that BBC schedules are never formally confirmed until two weeks prior to transmission, so consider this a working date for now, as schedules are liable to change.)

Else has also mentioned that Roy Stockdill from the society has been filmed for the episode, and that a new series of WDYTYA is being filmed for transmission in the summer of next year. (With thanks to Else @soggenealogist)

My reviews on this year's series have been largely very positive, bar the first episode and that of William Roache - you can catch up on them as follows:

Samantha Janus

Greg Wallace

Patrick Stewart

Annie Lennox

Alex Kingston and Hugh Dennis

William Roache

Celia Imrie

John Barnes

There's perhaps life in the old dog yet...!
