Scots scan Mount Rushmore

One way to preserve your family members' appearances is to photograph them - another is to carve a mountain out in their shape!

South Dakota's Mount Rushmore, which shows the carved likenesses of four former US presidents, has been digitally scanned now by Historic Scotland and Glasgow School of Art. The BBC has the full story at www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-18490402.
