NLS book request system to go offline for a week

From the National Library of Scotland website (www.nls.uk):

The online book request system will be unavailable from 11.30 on Saturday 16 June until 09.30 on Monday 25 June inclusive.

You can preorder up to six items during this period by emailing enquiries@nls.uk, or by using a printed application slip if you are in the George IV Bridge reading rooms.

The disruption is due to the upgrading of the main catalogue system which will deliver some customer service enhancements, as well as improve our ability to manage our collections. We apologise for any inconvenience you experience while the work is carried out.

Contact us by phone at 0131 623 3820 or email enquiries@nls.uk if you have any questions about how it will affect you.
