Inside History's Top 50 blogs

Australian based genealogy magazine Inside History (www.insidehistory.com.au) has just published a feature by blogger Jill Ball in its current issue 10 listing the top 50 genealogy blogs considered to be essential reads. A huge thanks to Jill for including British GENES as one of ten international blogs on the list. Also from Britain are the Borders FHS blog (http://blog.bordersfhs.org.uk), TNA's new blog (http://blog.nationalarchives.gov.uk), Audrey Collins' The Family Recorder (http://thefamilyrecorder.blogspot.com) and Jayne Shrimpton's blog (www.jayneshrimpton.tumblr.com).

By definition the majority of the blogs listed are Australian, which will be of particular interest if you have connections down under - Jill's own blog is available at http://geniaus.blogspot.co.uk.

The full article is available at http://issuu.com/insidehistory/docs/top_50_blogs_issue_10_final.

Thanks again!

Chris

  1. Thanks, Chris for the mention. The focus of the article was an Australian audience so there is a distinct Australian bias.

Many of us downunder have British ancestors - as far as I am concerned your blog is the brightest star in the firmament up your way and contains invaluable information for us.
